How Serving Board Sizing Works
We love sourcing our live edge wood local when possible, looking for beautiful unique slabs! When putting together our sizes for serving boards, we were quite challenged because when we search for wood, sometimes it’s 8 inches wide, sometimes 10 and so on. As you can see in the picture here, live edge sizes are all over the place! But that’s what makes them unique and beautiful.
For this reason, our serving boards are offered in small, medium, large and extra large - calculated by square inches. Please note: A large board, for example, is 192 square inches but an 8x24 and a 12x16 are two different shapes – longer vs rectangular. If you have a preference, please let us know in “special requests” at check out and we will reach out to let you know if we have that shape in your chosen wood. If it is a necessity and not a preference, please message us before checking out so we can make sure we have it.
If you need a bigger or smaller size, reach out on our custom form! If you are looking for no live/raw edge, choose the teak option under wood choices.

Hand wash your board with warm soapy water and towel dry immediately. Do not submerge in water. Apply cutting board oil monthly or as needed to protect the board and keep it looking beautiful! Do not use sharp knives on the epoxy resin portion of your board. It’s best to use dull cheese knives or use as a serving board with meats and cheeses sliced beforehand and placed on board.
